I have never ever written a bad review before but I m just shocked by the level of unprofessionalism of the customer support. I have been lucky enough to receive a faulty unit. It turns itself off automatically from overheating after around 40 minutes of use, followed but a strong burning odor. I m 176lbs and use the machine for power-walks not running which should be more than fine given the treadmill s specs. I contacted GYMAX twice via Amazon, the first time the customer support said it was normal for that to happen, the second time they completely ignored my extensive email describing the issue and offered me a 30 refund to keep the faulty machine. I have had the unit for less than a month. So, I get 30 to keep a faulty treadmill and it supposedly has 1 year manufacturer s warranty. I just request a full refund and will challenge any charges from now on just to make a point that that s not how you treat customers. I understand that issues happen all the time but customer support should work with me on fixing the issue and not completely dismiss my concerns.
