What is the advantage of this Milliard Peanut Ball Variety Pack?
Position around the body to help elevate the feet or relieve back pain. Use to perform stretches and strengthening exercises in adult therapy. Perfect for Pilates, yoga and core training. The peanut ball only moves in one direction, making it the perfect alternative for those who experience difficulty in balancing on a round ball.
Your child will love to bounce around with these balls, pretend it s a horse, toss it, roll it and just about anything else kids do with balls. Recommended by physical therapist to help with gross motor strengthening, balance and stabilization of the core. The peanut ball is uni-directional making is safer in therapy than a traditional large round ball. Also great for the sensory child looking for vestibular input. Fidgety children and teens prefer using the peanut ball as a saddle seat rather than a traditional chair.
Used for advanced core conditioning for both sporting and working dogs, as well as for animal rehab and therapy. The elongated peanut shape is the ideal support for a canine s four legs, letting them stand in their natural stance with a straight back and relaxed neck.
The peanut ball is placed between the legs to assist in birthing, specifically in epidural births when mom has to stay in bed.
Customer reviewsAll three of ours measure smaller then advertised
I bought three different sizes of the Milliard peanut ball after our gaiam peanut ball exploded while our son was bouncing on it. I had noticed that several reviewers had mentioned sizing issues, and I can confirm that is indeed an accurate problem. Because I need the peanut ball for a wide variety of therapeutic goals for out little man I even use these some with his NMT stuff , it was important for me to have a size he could work with, but this product hadn t had any reviews mentioning exploding, so I figured the smallest of the balls could go in his room for bouncing if he woke up and wanted to do that in the night, etc, and the medium sized one could be a back up in case something happened to the size that worked best for him for therapy. Our son is 5 and has a few things going on with him, one of which is a genetic disorder that causes him to be a bit taller then average for his age. We inflated the balls on day one and added additional air the next afternoon, as specified in the product instructions.
