No-go for lateral....Now that I got the right size, I can tell you that I really like this shoe I feel that the padding is just right for me-light enough that I can feel the ground beneath me while enjoying the benefits of some padding...good for lifting and some running. NOT good for lateral movements so be careful Bottom will remain planted but not enough reinforcement to stop your foot from moving within the shoe catastrophe for high speed work.
