When our rec center Versa-Disc units disappeared mysteriously, I was so sold on these balance pods, I decided to just buy a pair for the house and do my balance work at home. High quality plastic in these pods, unlike the cheapo Chinese Giam pads Wal Mart gets 15 a piece for, these units have the larger diameter for folks with big feet like myself. Being a senior citizen, it never hurts to work on your balance and keep those prio-preceptors tuned up as you get older. I can t say it will ever give you a lifetime guarantee of never falling, but preventative maintenance can t be all bad for your lower extremities. . One of my mantras in life is Buy the best and only cry once . Very happy with these pods.
