Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Customer reviews
Small and thinVery attractive shoes. I wear them to the gym when I do weights only, not good for any impact sport, as they are a bit flimsy. Made more to be cute to wear than for a sport. I changed the insole for my sports insoles, so they are better, but still very thin soled. The laces are really short, can hardly tie at the top, had to buy longer ones. They are smaller than my usual size, so size a half size higher and be prepared to wear thin socks, I wear my Keds sneaker socks and they are okay. Surprisingly low quality for Reebock.
