Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Amazonaddicted: Zumba recommended

I was looking for a Zumba shoe that was comfortable and flexible with just enough grip on the bottom. These have worked great I ordered the size I normally wear 10 and they fit. They do not run small in my opinion. These look like high tops but do not feel like high tops. Lots of cushion. Easy to slip on and off. The laces are nylon so I had to double tie them in order for them to stay tied. My feet slide around a little due to the fabric being used to make them breathable - with different socks, this issue can be resolved so find a pair that works for you. Lots of fun colors to choose from and the price is not going to break your bank. I may order a second pair for when these wear out. **UPDATE 4 months later - 5 of my zumba going friends have now bought these shoes and love them like I do. These are amazing
